RWRN Launches Brooklyn Drop-In Center
As part of our ongoing community outreach efforts, RWRN has long aspired to create a welcoming drop-in center for the people we serve. We’re grateful to Chabad of Central Brooklyn for donating space at their Kensington location for a weekly RWRN/Ezer drop-in center.
Starting with one day a week, RWRN volunteers will have a location in the Kensington area of Brooklyn provided by our partner organization Chabad of Central Brooklyn. RWRN’s community hub will provide a place for meetings, one-on-one interactions, events, free resources, as well as a help desk.
Safety and privacy first
While RWRN has an open door policy, to keep all members safe to protect the vulnerable individuals we serve as well as our volunteers, all attendees are carefully vetted. After the vetting process is completed, we maintain an open door policy with no membership fees or reduced fees.
