The RWR Network (RWRN, Resources, Wellness, Resilience Network), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by sisters Chaplain Rachel Weingarten and Chaplain Rebecca Weingarten MSc.Ed, MFA. Rachel is also a marketing and trends strategist who’s worked with global brands and is widely quoted in the media/appears on morning television sharing her thoughts and predictions on current trends. Unrelated to her non-profit life, Rachel is a beauty historian and former celebrity makeup artist. You can read about the way Rachel uses beauty to heal and connect with Holocaust survivors here.
Rebecca is a corporate consultant setting up career transition, information management systems and education coaching programs for individuals and teams. A family of certified chaplains
In early 2022, Rachel Weingarten became a certified chaplain in a quest to find more formal ways to help those in need. Late in the same year, Rebecca Weingarten also became a certified chaplain. The Weingarten sisters are incredibly proud that their mother Leah Weingarten Silber is also a chaplain. All three were trained and are closely aligned with the United States Chaplain Corps (USCC). In early 2023, Rachel and Rebecca both became certified as Chaplain First Responders after completing Psychological First Aid Training in association with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
The sisters credit their parents with inspiring them to a lifelong commitment to helping others.
Several of our projects including databases and the launch of one of RWRN’s first educational products, Project HEARD: Holocaust Education, Activism, & Resource Database were delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
